Amendment 28

I've had this forwarded to me by several people, most recently our buddy BN.

Proposed Amendment:

Amendment 28

Congress shall make no law that applies to the
citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the
Senators and/or Representatives, and Congress shall make no law that
applies to the Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply
equally to the citizens of the United States .

When the people fear their government there is
tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.

--Thomas Jefferson

  3. Amen brother!

I heard a line in a movie once:

"Would you tell me please, Mr. Howard, why should I trade one tyrant three thousand miles away for three thousand tyrants one mile away? An elected legislature can trample a man's rights as easily as a king can."

Well, looks like we have 537 tyrants. Which reminds me of another saying from that movie:

    "aim small, miss small"

  4. Butt, when I got this the other day,I sent it to my GOV (Charlie Crist)and my Sen. (Bill Nelson). I'm waiting on my return form letter.

    I think it's grate,but I don't think it is possible with this congress,hopefully 2013.

    But what do I know??
