10 steps to fascism in America

Ran across this by accident. The writer is talking about George Bush but if you look at the ten steps I swear she is even more talking about Obama! Bush may have started it with the Patriot Act but the Big O is carrying it over the cliff:

1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy -

Internal has to be all those crazy right wing extremists! External, could be loosely applied to supposed man made global warming



2. Create a gulag -

Hmmm, wonder if after they move MSM and company from Gitmo to that new prison in Illinois if they'll put anyone else there?


3. Develop a thug caste

Oh this has to be ACORN and SEIU.


4. Set up an internal surveillance system

Drones over NY? Scan the internet? Or worse CONTROL the internet?


5. Harass citizens' groups

Yep, gotta be the Tea Party.


6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release

Holdren and other Czars of Obama would love to find an excuse to round up some of the right wing, infact wasn't there a memo about them and others being probable internal threats to America?


7. Target key individuals

Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck?

8. Control the press

Well they already control NBC/MSNBC. Pretty soon the Feds will buy up newspapers that are "too big to fail".

9. Dissent equals treason

DUH, do I even need to say anything?


10. Suspend the rule of law

They believe more in the "rule of man" and look for excuses to invoke more restrictions.

At some point in the future

you will hear the government (Obama) extolling the virtues of his Youth Group. And if you read here you will say "oh my that sounds familiar". So read this and keep it in the back of your mind.
