No one has to hunt or farm for their sustenance anymore. No one has to ask for overtime so they can afford a few "extras". No one has to scrimp and save and take on extra jobs to get that down payment on a small home.
We've made major improvements in our technology and ways to make life "easier". In the process, we've lost the character that comes with the struggle.
We see it in our children, the more you give them, the less they respect it. If they have to earn it themselves, they learn more. Do we think we are any different?
It's no longer considered the right thing to do to argue vehemently for something you believe in.
We are weak. We are no longer "Americans".
Can we be restored?
