UPDATED 01/08/10***Interpol given authority to operate freely on US soil -thanks to Obama

Update: Glenn Beck said last night (01/07/10) that this is one of the most emailed stories he's had in awhile. His show tried to contact the White House. His concern is WHY this was considered necessary and WHO requested it. No response from the White House as of yet.

Update: Newt Gingrich brought this up on The Factor today, he seems to be as concerned as we are. Story also a "Nuze" item on Boortz. The word is getting around.

UPDATE: David Horowitz has given his analysis of this EO and has another angle that is just as disturbing if not more so:

Given the EPA’s recent license to regulate CO2 it is especially noteworthy that INTERPOL is tasked to seek and arrest EPA fugitives, defendants charged with environmental crimes who have fled the court’s jurisdiction. We will have to wait to see how the EPA criminalizes CO2 violations to determine the true risk of their ruling to American citizens.

Just when you thought it was safe to prepare for the holidays, another WH Bomb.

There are many sources reporting this story, Obama has issued an executive order rescinding Reagan's order

And it is indeed on the White House website: http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/executive-order-amending-executive-order-12425 as follows:

Executive Order -- Amending Executive Order 12425

EXECUTIVE ORDER
- - - - - - -
AMENDING EXECUTIVE ORDER 12425 DESIGNATING INTERPOL
AS A PUBLIC INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION ENTITLED TO
ENJOY CERTAIN PRIVILEGES, EXEMPTIONS, AND IMMUNITIES

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 1 of the International Organizations Immunities Act (22 U.S.C. 288), and in order to extend the appropriate privileges, exemptions, and immunities to the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), it is hereby ordered that Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c), Section 3, Section 4, Section 5, and Section 6 of that Act" and the semicolon that immediately precedes them.

BARACK OBAMA

http://threatswatch.org/analysis/2009/12/wither-sovereignty/

http://www.newmediajournal.us/the_fifth_column/12222009.htm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlpBB4o8xq8 video from Alex Jones

=========================================================

What does all this mean? Breaking it down section by section.

Barack: Executive Order 12425 of June 16, 1983, as amended, is further amended by deleting from the first sentence the words "except those provided by Section 2(c)

What was Section 2(c) in the Reagan Executive order? Actually, both of these Executive Orders are revering to International Organizations Immunities Act from 1945.

Property and assets of international organizations wherever located and by whomsoever held, shall be immune from search, unless such immunity be expressly waived, and from confiscation. The archives of international organizations shall be inviolable.

That's the way the original Act read in 1945. That was not good. Reagan in Executive Order 12425 amended the International Organizations Immunities Act (IOIA for future reference) to exclude that privilege. Rational right?

Barack's Executive Order effectively reinstates their immunity.

=============================================================
Section 3

IOIA original language: Pursuant to regulations prescribed by the Commissioner of Customs with the approval of the Secretary of the Treasury, the baggage and effects of alien officers and employees of international organizations, or of aliens designated by foreign governments to serve as their representatives in or to such organizations, or of the families, suites, and servants of such officers, employees, or representatives shall be admitted (when imported in connection with the arrival of the owner) free of customs duties and free of internal-revenue taxes imposed upon or by reason of importation.

Sure, just let them bring anything in!

Reagan amended it to delete the sections relating to customs duties and federal internal-revenue importation taxes. Obama again, gives them that tax & duty free status.

============================================================
Section 4 and 5

He just says "Section 4"? Section 4 has subparts a thru i, so pardon me if I don't post the entire section here and just paraphrase, please feel free to click on the link above and verify my interpretation.

Section 4 and 5 are about the Internal Revenue tax code as it applies to international organizations. If I am reading it right, in the original IOIA, they were exempt from taxes on income in the form of wages, stocks, property, etc. That's not good! Reagan again, eliminated this privilege.

And Obama put it back? Is he crazy? Someone else please read this and tell me if I have it right.

===============================================================
Section 6 is basically the same language applied to property taxes, excluding them. Reagan takes away this language (they have to pay) and Obama puts it back.

===============================================================

The biggest thing about all this is how now Interpol has all the rights and privileges previously held for visiting dignataries of foreign governments, ambassadors and their staff, etc. Their records cannot be searched by ANY American authority. That is indeed a scary thing.

And the foreign dignataries, etc., no longer have to pay tax on anything earned while in the US????

Yet again, The White House moves while we are looking elsewhere, preoccupied with our daily lives.

Merry Christmas, I look forward to your comments.

Ok. So what I have been hearing through the grapevine is that this is all part of a plan to implement martial law in mid to late January of next year. Apparently certain information is going to surface in January that will force Obama to declare martial law. Supposedly certain numbers and results will come out showing which mega banks that received TARP/Stimulus funds are still solvent. The news from what I have heard are going to be pretty grim. I have also been told that there could even be a banking holiday for a couple weeks cause apparently the FDIC is completely broke and there could be some MAJOR restructuring of the banking system as a result. I have also heard that the holiday sales numbers are going to be so bad that department stores and other companies will default on all of their loans at these large institutions. I have even heard that the Blagojevich attorney will implicate Obama and Rahm Emanuel as well as a few other Obama campaign/administration officials in the selling of Obama's Senate seat. Now I am hearing that this Interpol thing is infact 100% acurate. I have also been hearing that our intelligence agencies are relocating to Chicago in secret. I have even heard that it has already been accomplished and the deadline for completing the move was December 15th. This all is so crazy I just am overwhelmed by what is going on.

The FDIC has advertised openings for 1,600 new positions (temps?). That is a 23% increase in staffing. The word from the bureau is that this is nothing more than a repeat of the S&L crises.

http://milwaukee.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/stories/2009/12/14/daily33.html

This order looks like suspension of the Fourth Amendment. From what I could tell, a US Citizen on US soil could potentially be taken by Interpol and loaded into an ocean going container, put on any boat in any port in the US, and shipped off to another country and nobody could stop it. This president is quietly destroying the US Constitution with the blessing of the lame-stream media and our legislators.

So while the Demoncrats were putting on a show on Hell Scare, this crap was going on behind the scenes.

I've also posted this on facebook and twitter. Crazy. Thanks Ivan.

I was just reading about the 1600 jobs. Also FDIC is "partnering" with some very shady people in order to raise cash.

OTR:

You are correct. Those are temp positions they are opening up because there will be roughly 2,000 banks going under by the Summer of 2010. I used to be a contractor for the FDIC and they told me exactly that. Furthermore all of the empty bank branches are going to be utilized as bases of operation while shutting down other banks. There will be so many closures that the solvent "stable" banks left will not be able to absorb the new closed institutions. The only way to cover the funds on deposit at these institutions is for the FDIC to get more money from the Treasury that would then be "offset" by loans from the Federal Reserve. I guarantee you that if these set of events goes down like I have been hearing that China and Japan and other nations that buy up our debt will stop completely. At that point this country is done. I really hope that my fellow Patriots have their bugout bags ready and plans to get their families out of the cities to safety.

I just want to remind you guys that this coming revolution was planned and completely provoked. You have to remember who we are dealing with here. These people are eugenicists and LOVE the idea of population reduction. If they can start a Civil War and have millions of Americans die off from starvation and war they will do it. The would love to put the US military up against its own citizens cause they know that despite what happens there will be lots and lots of deaths on both sides which helps them achieve their goals. Hell this Universal Healthcase could actually work once half of the population is dead.

Number of things come to mind:

Muzzleloaders (flintlock), cap and ball revolvers, and lead casting equipment are good for hunting. Can recast lead for ball. Round ball works VERY well for hunting. Gun powder has various recipes, easy to make. Caps are not easy to make but can be done. Flint is everywhere.

Save the regular ammo and conventional arms for home defense. By the way, 7.62X39 shell cases can be reloaded with black powder (do not recommend for regular use, only if desperate). The AK-47 will work with it. Primers can be a challenge. There is a Lyman cast for that bullet (#311359). You can use lard, Wesson Oil, axle grease, etc to lubricate the AK.

Glock fires underwater. You can abuse the crap out of it. Both the AK and the Glock can be buried in the dirt, drenched thoroughly, dragged through a swamp, dropped from a fast moving vehicle, run through a cement mixer, packed in salt water, frozen in a block of ice, anything. It will still work.

I have already put thousands of rounds through my Glock and it is still very accurate. Very easy to use point and click device. Do not waste money on pretty guns or fancy ammo. A lot of used third generation Glocks out there. Once you put a round down the barrel it is a used gun.

Just my humble opinion.

Chief, I agree. The vast majority of our soldiers will not turn on US civilians; however, there are a few...

To Butt

I know you are right that the military would not outright attack US citizens, but I do fear that martial law is a real and serious threat. I can guarantee you that if the American people feel threatened by men in uniform they may attack US soldiers.

Ivan, I was never able to bring myself to living in a city. Maybe time for me to migrate back to the reservation in the Pahayogee. Nothing out there but gators, saw grass, fresh/salt water fish, etc....

Hmmm, wake up everyday, hunt and fish. Cook dinner on the grill. Enjoy the breeze off of Florida Bay. Go out on the boat. No deadlines, no bills, no hassles about property taxes,....

Geez!!! What the hell am I doing in Texas!?!?!?!?

I went back to the EUTIMES site and reread the article.

Regarding that print of the Union/Confederate soldiers, I am one of those guys that sits in the theater going "that is not the correct weapon!" It appears that both soldiers are sporting Springfields when the common rifle for the Confederate soldier was a P53 Enfield.

One million troops? We have about 1.5 million active duty right now. Does he mean Army Soldiers? That would be 500,000 active duty right now. So, if the author is implying we double the Army soldier force (which seems the only thing that makes sense) that would entail a monumental mobilization at a cost easily into the hundreds of billions per year if not more.

There are some increase requests in the works with Congress, but at an increase of several 10's of thousands over the next four years at a cost of about $90billion. That was a Gates request earlier this year.

The concept in the article is plausible. Financially, it does not seem feasible. They could always raise the debt limit further, I guess.

I did notice that FDIC raised its budget for 2010 to $4billion from $2.6billion for 2009.

Ok, so I did more poking around. This one should be interesting:

http://www.northcom.mil/News/2008/021408.html

I saved the web page. Interesting to point out that Canada would respond in the event that we need help from a terrorist attack.

Then there are the news releases from US Northern Command:

http://www.northcom.mil/News/2007/083007.html

http://www.northcom.mil/News/2008/110508.html

USNORTHCOM is responsible for Homeland Defense and civil support. Here is an interesting National Guard document showing NG participation in Vigilant Shield (saved it):

http://www.ngaus.org/ngaus/files/ccLibraryFiles/Filename/000000005459/NGB%20-%20Joint%20Exercise%20Division.pdf

As I was trying to find more info on the commander of USNORTHCOM I found this little gem commenting on the EUTimes article:

http://www.thetotalcollapse.com/is-obama-really-preparing-for-civil-war/

So my take on this is if there is a buildup like the one noted in the EUTimes article it might be expected to come from the National Guard of the various states. If the states decide to resist then there could be a wide range of possible outcomes.

I went to the linked in page for this commander and he has an MS in Psychology dated 1975. He is in various Homeland Security groups (not really unusual). I looked at this guy's medals/awards. He has a chest full of desk level medals. Even though it appears he flew in Desert Storm there are no medals on this guy's chest that would warrant a "V" device or anything that would come from a face-to-face encounter with the enemy. The man has distinguished himself as a desk jockey and probably a massive PC type. This guy smells like a political player.

Auntie Em said...

Chuck Baldwin mentioned in OTR's last link, has been the name most often associated with the stories about the NorthCom buildup. He's worth checking out.

http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/

Aren't the National Guard still under control of the governors? This could be one saving grace, most governors would not tolerate these actions against their own people.

Just googled "Obama civil war" for any new articles and there is nothing. Just like this hasn't even been noticed.

Pajamas Media however has a very good article on the Interpol Executive Order: http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/obama-surrenders-u-s-sovereignty-his-interpol-executive-order/

Did you know the head of the current secretary general of Interpol is American Richard Noble? Ring a bell? It should, he was responsible for overseeing the Treasury Department’s review of the disastrous 1993 raid and siege of a Branch Davidian compound in Waco, Texas, that left nearly 80 people dead.

More importantly, PJM makes a good case for Obama subjecting AMERICAN CITIZENS to the International Criminal Court. Including service men for war crimes.

It gets worse the more I read...

When I swore to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic I became a target of the "Anti-Defamation League." Wow, not bad. I kinda like that. Tomorrow I am going out to buy a shirt with a target on the back.

Liberals do not want us to know anything about the Constitution. Is that the little turd Ronald K. "Smoke-a-Branch-Davidian" Noble? Now he is trying to set himself up to run Interpol? What a disgusting pig.

I am not a law enforcement officer, but the oath of office that I took as an officer in the Regular Army does not seem to come with an expiration date.

The role of the National Guard has been confusing to me for some time. But, there are conditions for POTUS taking over command.

First we have the precedent of the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794 where George Washington quelled the rebellion and handed the rebels over to the civilian courts. Subsequently, the Supreme Court has held that civilian courts are the last word when they are still in effect even in a Martial Law situations in the US. US citizens may not be tried in military courts. The National Guard Act of 1877 gave the President powers over local and state militias in time of a national emergency. Finally, when local authorities appear incapable or unwilling to enforce the law, the national guard may be federalized.

Historically, the US Army has stayed out of situations involving martial law or had limited participation preferring local militias/national guard to be employed. Generally, the national guard receives far more training in handling domestic disturbances whereas the Regular Army prefers to maintain its integrity as a force that violently takes land, violently defends taken land, and violently reduces an enemy to an ineffective combat force.

So, looking at things today. Let us suppose I say just a few off color things about liberals. The ADL goes to the Hague and files a charge that my remarks about liberals are hateful (my remarks??).

Interpol now gets the warrant from the Hague to bring me in. At 3:34 am they come crashing through my door, throw me into an ocean going container with their diplomatic immunity tag, compliments of Obama ExOrd 12425, and off I go, Ron Noble waving with a smile.

we, as lazyass 'mericans, have allowed the scumsuckin'politicians to do as they damn please without raisin' a finger....why? we're lazy and have other things to do....serve our family, that is a universal thing, feed and protect is a basic human thing.

in doing that we separate ourselves from those that we are feedin' and protectin'. if we are fortunate enough to have picked the right field/career we can provide the finer things, and that is a personnal choice....a two story dubble wide might be the best thing for your family, or a 7,500 square foot bungalow is it.....

butt.......we weren't payin' attention to what the bastards we entrusted our vote with were doin'......and that's what's wrong with our country.....they have taken advantage of our laziness and ignorance.....yeah I called you ignorant...not stoopid...

now that things have headed for the third world cesspool we're pissed off. some of us have become unemployed,me, and others have lost big bucks cuz of gubment interferance in bizness, me.

well damn it you asked.....phhheeeeew...hot fingers....beer here nurse!!....

Auntie Em said...

Wellll!!!!! I would say butt has very succinctly in his own unique way put his finger on the very problem.

We're lazy. As Newt points out in this video (courtesy our beer steward) on Christmas Day 1776, 2500 new Americans many without boots, wrapped their feet in burlap and left blood on the ground on the way to capturing German soldiers fighting with the British. We are no longer willing to make such sacrifices, hell, you can't even get very many Americans to ADMIT there is a need. "Oh quit being a fear monger, that'll never happen here" is what I have been told.

I'm not real sure what will get us up off our collective couch potato butts, but it's gotta be soon.

You know, the more I read this, the more I wish Interpol would come into my home. I've got a lot of ammunition waiting for them. This is absolutely sickening to say the least.

Ivan, if what you are saying is true, then we have a lot to worry about. I recieved some information myself that he has ordered an increase of troops to 1 Million strong by January, due to rumors around a possible civil war within the United States. This is all beginning to make perfect sense.

Auntie Em said...

I see *someone* has picked up this story from my blog and posted it to fb!! Spread the word.

Auntie Em said...

Lame Stream Media has finally picked up on this story. Good you say! Not so much. Jake Tapper/ABC gave the usual "oh it's ok, nothing bad is going to happen after all, lots of previous presidents have done similar" liberal claptrap.

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2009/12/just-what-did-president-obamas-executive-order-regarding-interpol-do.html#comments

My response to him:
_____________________________
As if all the earlier presidents granting them various privileges is ok? Hey Jake, did you forget to mention we are also strongly considering inclusion in the International Criminal Court? Add the Interpol new freedoms to that and what do you get? Here's a "what if": our drones have gone off and killed civilians. Those governments demand the operator be brought before the ICC. That involves Interpol. Off the operator goes with no ability to subpoena their records.

Fine, let it all go to hell, you people never have the ability to look ahead, you would just rather "wait and see" if something goes wrong. It's called "action of unintented consequences".

Wow! I hope this keeps building steam. I like some of the analogies:

Hitler :: Gestapo
Stalin :: CHEKA
Obama :: Interpol

ExOrd 12425 means suspension of 4th Amendment by Interpol and de facto suspension of 6th Amendment through the ICC.

ExOrd 12425 mean a new way for Obama friends to dodge taxes. I bet Geitner is going to be jealous!

In addition to anyone committing a felony anytime, anywhere, expelling CO2 puts us on the CO2 criminal list of EPA environmental crimes. And my favorite Obama: the Constitution reflects the fundamental flaw of this country.

off the reservation said...

Reading through Jake Tappert's article I am reminded of Al Capone being convected of tax evasion.

Laws get used in strange ways to accomplish things not intended. I am also impressed with how many liberals are just fine with this mess under President Obama. The naive view that the government under Obama would never do anything that would interfere with their party time.

Auntie Em said...

I've tried to get across to liberals (I'll probably post this on boortz) is that any power they give to this administration will one day be in the hands of a conservative administration. Do they want them having the same power? Usually they don't.
