FairTax. We need to repeal not just the 16th Amendment, but the 17th Amendment regarding direct election of Senators. Notice how these Amendments came about in 1913? Progressive Movement! Run up to Woodrow Wilson and then the Soviet Union in 1917! This is part of having the fat dumb masses in charge to take away liberty and redistribution of wealth through taxation of individuals.
The tyranny by the ruling elite in Washington marches on....
And I forgot, the 18th Amendment prohibiting alcohol. Another outgrowth of the Progressive Movement. Centralized control over the freedoms and rights of people in the country.

Yep, they have had many successes, the Social Security system, the draft registration, tying the census to welfare programs instead of it's original purpose to decide on voter representation, the prohibition and the near bankruptcy of New York City. Technically, that would be viewed as a failure but the progressives learned alot about what it takes to collapse a system on how deep NYC sunk and how long it took to come back.
