What did you think I said?

Second funny for the week, deal with it! From my buddy Gordon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

What did you think I said?

Abu al-Zarqawi died and George Washington met him at the Pearly Gates. He slapped him across the face and yelled, "How dare you try to destroy the nation I helped conceive!"

Patrick Henry approached, punched him in the nose and shouted, "You wanted to end our liberties but you failed!"

James Madison followed, kicked him in the groin and said, "This is why I allowed our government to provide for the common defense"

Thomas Jefferson was next, beat al-Zarqawi with a long cane and snarled "It was Evil men like you who inspired me to write the Declaration of Independence."

The beatings and thrashings continued as George Mason, James Monroe and 66 other early Americans unleashed their anger on the terrorist Leader.

As al-Zarqawi lay bleeding and in pain, an Angel appeared. Al- Zarqawi wept and said, "This is not what you promised me."

The Angel replied, "I told you there would be 72 Virginians waiting for you in Heaven. What did you think I said?"

I think some people are just a tad bit obsessed with Beck. Hey, no one is perfect. Advocate? Not hardly, that is an exaggeration of what he said.

Can't think of a single person that I agree 100% with what they say.

Does this degrade his worth? No. Because he is still against the "climate bill". And that is what counts.

You guys spend wayyyy too much time worrying about a tv personality. He is not a politician. Worry about those.

But the others look interesting, I'll check those out. Although, the source is still questionable in my book.

As far as Rigi goes, isn't he still in Iranian custody? And you believe his so-called confession on tv with a gun pointed at him out of sight of the camera?

There have been several of these confessions lately.

Per the Times: Commenting on the apparently forced confessions of dissidents broadcast after the disputed election, Haleh Esfandiari, an Iranian-American scholar told my colleague Jim Dwyer last year, “The good thing about Iran is that nobody — I mean nobody in the country — believes these confessions.”

Now the green world order story is right on! But then, we knew that was in the works. Hmmmm that's a Fox story too.

Does Alex Jones try to undermine Glenn Beck because he does not like the competition? Or, perhaps he has failed to become mainstream and popular like Beck.

Auntie Em said...

Tim, I've been wondering about that for awhile, and have had many discussions/arguments with Jones supporters.

What I have decided is that when Beck was just radio, they didn't pay too much attention to him, cause back then, even he will admit he was drinking some of the koolaide. Then he started waking up about halfway into the Bush years. When he hit tv this became especially apparent and the Jones folks thought they had a compatriot on a major channel that could give even more exposure to their causes. When he refused to toe THEIR line, they felt betrayed and threatened. They won't admit that of course.

So now they "spin" everything he says. And as I pointed out in the "terrorist leader CIA connections" story Ivan gave us, Jones is a MASTER at spinning, even thought this article was written by one of his staff. They are all learning to twist stories to fit conspiracies. I have discovered THAT is the magic that is Alex Jones/InfoWars.

Not that they don't uncover some good stuff from time to time! I still go there in my daily rounds of searching for goodies for our little home here. I just wear gloves when I go there.

Its not that I agree with 100% of Beck. I like alot of what he says. His CPAC address was "POWERFUL" especially the recitation of the poem on the statue of liberty. I think Beck is sincere, but he is a human being like everyone of us.

It goes to other talkers as well. I really like Boortz, but have disagreements with some of his points. As I do with Limbaugh and others.

I still like Hannity, but I think he is a block-head. :) He is a one-trick pony so to speak. Beck and Boortz'z shows are far more entertaining and informative than Hannity. Hannity's best moments are his Great American panel discussions.i

Auntie EM question me this, how did a GA. girl who pimps hard wood floors become such a (_E=MC2_). And I mean that in a positive way!

BTW,when it comes to radio, its Mark Levin, hands down for me.What is it you don't like about him???

Auntie Em said...

LOL Coop, um, thanks I think!

At the age of 18, one of my older brothers talked me into going to a couple of John Birch Society meetings and I read the Blue Book.

yeah not a good beginning was it....

But anyway, I compared them to a lot of other groups at the time, have continued to compare and discovered something that goes back to what Tim and I both were saying:

There is NO ONE out there, that I agree with 100%.

There are loons, there are groups that use loons, and every once in awhile a loon will get it right.

Each incident or item, stands by itself. And has to be examined as such.

I believe we would have a much more representative form of government if we were required to vote, and if we had to vote on all big issues directly instead of leaving it to professional politicians.

Would this slow down the process. Certainly.

Is that a bad thing??????

Oh and Mark Levin, sorry almost forgot your question.

Actually I like Mark, his writings. But can't handle his voice, just a personal thing.

He's a bit more religious than I like, but other than that, he's great! I have his book and need to finish it.
